Harry Potter and Edward Cullen debate!

Hello, so today me and my friend (lauren) were talking in our english lesson. I was feeling rather hyper and brought up the question who would win in a fight, Harry Potter or Edward Cullen? Ofcourse I backed Harry Potter especially since the new Harry Potter film is about to be released soon this month and it has been a long loved tradition of mine to love the Harry Potter movies, I have been reading them since year three. But Lauren had other ideas considoring like many others she is Twilight obbsessed, obviously I dont judge this craze as I understand it fully, Edward Cullen is pretty amazing. But since I dont read and cant really get hooked on the famous books written by Stephanie Myer, I cant really love the Twilight saga to its limit. So this is the argument... I argued that Harry Potter would have magic the most powerful thing in the world he will also have all of his friends including Dumbledor and maybe some enemies on his side. For instance, as we all know Voldemort (or Voldie, as I commonly call him;)) wants to kill Harry, and he is the only one to kill Harry, so why would Voldie let Edward Cullen defeat Harry?
But then Lauren rightly pointed out that Edward would have all the vampires including his family and such, even his vampire baby who is very strong indeed (if you look into the future into the book Breaking Dawn where Bella and Edward have a child and Bella becomes a vampire, during the birth.) But I still presisted and said, (and I know this point is far fetched) ok.. but Jacob is now inprinted on Renesme, and Harry is friends with warewolves so Jacob would most likley fight with Harry as Edward and the vampires hate warewolves. Then maybe Renesme would follow him so Bella would have to follow also, it is her child after all. This is when Lauren resigned from siding with Edward as she had no more points to get across or argue. But maybe you do, get in touch with your points and veiws to let me know who would win.. Harry Potter or Edward Cullen?!
